A classic 1927 Australian Parliament House florin, struck in 92.5% sterling silver and issued during the reign of King George V. This iconic commemorative coin was released to mark the opening of Australia’s first Parliament House in Canberra.

This example presents in high-grade Extremely Fine (EF) condition, with sharp detail to both obverse and reverse. The Parliament House design is well struck, lettering remains crisp, and full rim denticles are clearly visible. The coin displays strong eye appeal, with only light surface hairlines consistent with careful handling or an old clean, and no significant circulation wear.

The coin is supplied in a protective cardboard 2x2 holder, suitable for safe storage or display.

Offered by a Perth, Western Australia–based numismatic business, with Australia-wide shipping available and local pickup by arrangement.

A popular and historically significant florin, ideal for collectors of Australian pre-decimal silver or George V coinage.
