Issued by the Reserve Bank of Australia to celebrate the nation’s Bicentenary, this 1988 $10 Commemorative Note was the world’s first polymer banknote. Featuring the portrait of an Aboriginal youth and Captain Cook hologram, it represents a landmark in Australian currency history.

This example is first prefix “AA” from the initial 26 January 1988 print run and remains in uncirculated condition within its original descriptive folder.
